Cancel & Change Order Policy

At Drsawdust, we prioritize efficient logistics to ensure our customers receive their orders as quickly as possible. We understand that mistakes can happen, and you may need to adjust your order. This policy outlines the specific conditions and timeframes under which an order can be modified or canceled.

  1. THE FULFILLMENT TIMELINE

Our system is designed to move orders into the fulfillment stage rapidly.

  • Order Processing: Orders placed before 5:00 PM EST on business days are typically processed the same day.
  • Handling Time: Our standard handling time is 1–2 business days.
  • Transition to Shipping: Once an order has been picked, packed, or assigned a tracking number, it is considered “In Fulfillment” and can no longer be altered.
  1. ORDER CANCELLATION GUIDELINES

If you wish to cancel your purchase, please contact us immediately.

  • Cancellation Window: You may request a full cancellation within 12 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet entered the processing stage.
  • Before Processing: Cancellations are granted with a 100% full refund to your original payment method.
  • During Processing: We will make every effort to stop the shipment, but cancellation is not guaranteed once the order is being handled by our warehouse team.
  • After Shipping: Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be canceled. In this case, you must receive the package and follow our Return and Refund Policy.
  1. ORDER MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES

We support changes to your order details if requested before the fulfillment process begins.

3.1 Common Modifications You may request the following changes:

  • Updating the size or color of an item.
  • Swapping one product for another of equal value.
  • Correcting errors in your contact information or email address.
  • Adjusting the quantity of items in your cart.

3.2 Shipping Address Corrections Accuracy in shipping details is the customer’s responsibility. Please review your address during checkout.

  • Pre-Fulfillment: Address corrections are free and processed immediately upon request.
  • Post-Fulfillment: We cannot change the destination once the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL) has received the package. Any rerouting fees charged by the carrier will be the responsibility of the customer.
  1. PRICING ADJUSTMENTS FOR CHANGES
  • If a requested product change results in a higher total, we will provide a secure link for you to pay the difference.
  • If the change results in a lower total, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method automatically.
  1. FEES AND CHARGES

Drsawdust does not charge any administrative fees for cancellations or modifications requested within the valid timeframe. We believe in transparent service with no hidden costs.

  1. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

6.1 Inventory Availability In the rare event that an item becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will contact you immediately via support@drsawdust.com. You will have the option to receive a full refund or choose a replacement item of equal value.

6.2 Duplicate Orders If you accidentally place a duplicate order, please notify us within the 12-hour window. We will cancel the duplicate and issue a full refund immediately.
